this week we have a triple graduation. will graduates from the university of maryland, college park with a degree in economics and government and politics, sarah graduates from wootton high school and is headed off to the university of maryland, college park, and madeline graduates from middle school. lots of changes on the horizon.
mike and tom are keeping life simple- just moving on to second grade.
as always, we will host a big party to celebrate the events and serve an enormous barbeque of ribs and chicken with all the fixins'. thought about a pig roast, but my mom, who keeps kosher, might have issues with that. currently, i am baking up a storm- but it is fun- there is nothing like throwing a big party! i am hoping for good weekend weather, otherwise, fitting 100 people into our tiny house will be cozy. fingers crossed.
we are still in a holding pattern on the dog's pregnancy- we should know in two more weeks. dogs are quite lucky- eight weeks gestation for ten little ones- what efficiency.
off to finish the second batch of chocolate chip cookies.
