Jason
Little did we know that when we said goodbye last summer, that the good-bye would be so final. You will always be in our hearts, your quiet strength and gentle spirit guiding us. Rest in peace.
jason's memorial service was so moving. i have never been in a room with so many young men sitting quietly with tears streaming down their faces. all of us feel such a profound loss with jason's death. jason was one to savor life- he fit more living into his 19 years than most people fit into their lifetime. jason never missed an opportunity to goof around with the guys. he always took the time to sit and chat with friends. i will always remember him, standing at the end of the pool, in his skimpy speedo, stretching to the sky and grinning infectiously. that is the picture of jason that i have engraved in my mind. i will miss you jason.
